Our Story
Founded in 2009 in Winter Garden, Florida, Docklife was born from a simple frustration: why should installing a dock require months of permit applications, expensive contractors, and ongoing regulatory headaches?
We discovered that by designing our modular dock systems as floating platforms under Florida's dock exemption law, we could offer customers a legal, permit-exempt alternative to traditional fixed docks. Every unit is built to Coast Guard Hull Identification Number standards and carries a HIN. This approach has changed how thousands of waterfront property owners get their water access.
