The same modular HDPE cubes we install across Florida, crated and freighted to your lake, river or coast.
Every product in our cube line ships anywhere in the United States. That includes standard flotation cubes for bare docks and swim platforms, V-cubes for drive-on jet ski channels, U-Float bow channels for larger hulls, all four drive-on jet ski port sizes, and the anchoring hardware, cleats and winches that go with them.
Three things do not travel with the product, and we would rather say so up front than let you find out at quote time. Free delivery is a Florida service. Professional installation by our own crew is a Florida service. Trex decking is a Florida service, because we frame the rim and set the hidden fasteners as part of the install. Outside Florida you are buying the product, not the labor: freight is quoted separately and you or your contractor receives and assembles it.
That trade is deliberate. We would rather ship a customer in Michigan a dock that is genuinely the same product our Florida crews install than pretend we have a service truck two hours from every lake in the country.
Orders leave our Winter Garden, Florida warehouse as LTL freight on pallets. Cubes nest efficiently, so a surprising amount of dock fits on a single pallet, and the pallet count is what drives your freight cost along with the distance and the delivery conditions at your address.
We quote freight per destination and we never estimate it in advance. Carrier rates move week to week, and a residential address on a narrow lake road is a different delivery than a commercial dock with a forklift. Give us the ship-to address and the cube count and we will return an actual freight number with your product price.
You or your contractor receives the shipment. Plan for a spot where a 48-foot trailer can pull in and where pallets can be set down and broken apart. Inspect the pallets before you sign, and photograph anything that looks wrong so we can work the claim with the carrier for you.
DockLife cubes pin together. Two cubes line up, a pin drops through the interlocking ears, and the connection is made. Every shipment includes the cube pin tool and the wrench you need, so there is nothing to buy and nothing to rent.
There is no concrete to pour, no pilings to drive, and no crane or barge in the picture. Most owners lay out sections on the shore or on a ramp, pin them into a panel, then walk the panel into the water and connect it to the next one. Two people and an afternoon covers a typical residential dock. Anchoring is the part worth thinking through in advance: pipe anchors, concrete anchors, or standoff pipes off a seawall, depending on your depth and bottom type. Tell us what your shoreline looks like and we will spec it with the order.
Our Florida permitting knowledge is specific to Florida statute, and it does not transfer. Outside Florida, dock rules are set state by state and often county by county, sometimes with a lake authority, a utility, or a homeowners association layered on top. The customer or their contractor handles those local approvals.
One pattern worth knowing: many jurisdictions treat a floating, non-fixed structure differently from a pile-driven dock, because nothing is anchored into the lake bed and the structure can be removed. That can mean a lighter review. It varies widely, though, and we do not advise on it — check with your local waterway authority before you order.
Eight states account for most of our shipping volume, each with its own typical job:
Out-of-state orders use the same per-cube rate card as our Florida work, plus freight. Docks are priced by cube count, not by the square foot, so you can count the cubes on your drawing and check the math yourself. Jet ski ports are priced as complete units in four sizes.
The one difference is what the price includes: no free delivery, no installation labor, no Trex decking line. See the full rate card on our pricing page, or lay out your dock and get a cube count on the dock configurator.
Send us your ship-to address and what you want on the water. We will come back with product pricing and a real freight number.
